THE BOARD

The Board of Directors consists of the following accomplished professionals who have brought their complementary skills to bear on the management of the Bank viz:-

Rev. (Cannon) Segun Agbetuyi – Chairman: a foremost career banker, an astute and a highly respected clergy chairs the Board.  He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.  He obtained his technical and management training within the network of Bank of Boston, Massachusetts, USA. 
He is now the Chairman of Springbank Plc, made up of 6 strong commercial banks with over N25 Billion shareholders fund; Omegabank Plc, Citizens International Bank Plc, Guardian Express Bank Plc, ACB International Bank Plc, Trans International Bank Ltd Fountain Trust Bank Plc.
Canon Agbetuyi was the Chief Executive Officer of Omegabank Plc pre-consolidation.  Before that time, he had held the position of Deputy Managing Director of Nigerian-American Merchant Bank Ltd (NAMBL) where he worked for 12 years.  He was also the Regional Credit Manager for Northern Nigeria in Afribank Plc.  His experience spans both local and international exposures in all aspects of banking, and management. 

Josephine Olomu – Ag. Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer : Until her appointment as acting Managing Director, she was the Group Executive,Business Development Division. She holds an MBA from the University of Lagos. With her banking experience spanning over 11 years, she has come to distinguish herself in the area of marketing and business development, coupled with excellent skills and good leadership. She anchored both Treasury and Credit positions in the institutions she served dilligently, starting with Midas Merchant Bank, then FSB International Bank and gateway Bank Plc.  
She is now coordinating the overall business development activity of Omegasavings and Loans Ltd, to ensure growth, whilst assissting in the day to day management of the bank

Prince Segun Iyaomolere - Director.  He was until his voluntary retirement an Executive Director, Corporate Services in Omegabank Plc.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from the University of Lagos.  He was the Head of the Computer Systems Department of Societe Generale Bank Nigeria (SGBN) Limited for 10 years.  He was also the Chief Examiner with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.  He joined Omegabank in 1989 and was also on the Board of HLA Estates Limited and SCIT Limited. 
His wealth of experience and creativity has greatly impacted on the fortunes of the institution to the admiration of our ever-growing clients.

Mr. Akin Adepoju – Director:  He is currently the Group Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of Springbank Plc.  An Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law obtained from the University of Ife (now, Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1984.  With over seventeen years of banking experience, he started his banking career with the Universal Trust Bank in 1987 where he became a Deputy Manager in the Legal Department.  He moved to Primrose Savings & Loans Limited, a subsidiary of First City Monument Bank in 1994 as the Legal Adviser/Company Secretary and Head of Administration.  He joined Omegabank in May 1999 and has risen to the post of Company Secretary/legal Adviser.  He has undergone series of trainings both in Nigeria and Overseas, including Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
